I installed this too. There are better alternatives for finding
openssl/libz than the current code, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't
improve the current code until it has been replaced with something
better.
Please test tomorrow's snapshot. I hope we can get CVS in a decent
shape and release 0.15 soon!
