There are huge differences between them. The most important difference for me
is that I know autoconf and the autotools and that's where I feel at home.

My experience with cmake enthusiasts is that a lot of users of this tool
pushes for it, but when it comes down to actually writing (new) tests for
things the magic is about the same with the big difference that autoconf has
been around for very very long and cmake is a newbie in the neighborhood. Of
course I don't claim this to be universally true. I might just had bad luck.

Good enough! Pass along the patch or setup a git repo we can pull it from.
