 I ran the trace again, this time with LIBSSH2_TRACE_SOCKET, and printing
 out the value of rc.
 35 is EAGAIN on this system.

 I added one more bit of tracing at line 2001 of src/channel.c:

 [libssh2] 1.736138 Conn: channel->local.window_size == 0
